How to make a popsicle stick box:
Grab your popsicle sticks (we just had normal sized ones). Then, lay together 11 popsicle sticks. Then, use white glue and glue on a popsicle stick onto both ends of them.
Then, drop four drops of glue onto all four corners of your square. Now, you'll glue on a pair of sticks on the other two sides of the square. Keep gluing pairs of sticks in this alternating fashion until you get a box.
Once your glue dries, grab your craft paint and paint the box. If you want to add extra details, doodle an image on a piece of paper (with sharpie and crayons- no markers or chalk markers because they will smear with Mod Podge), cut out the image, and Mod Podge the image onto your box with a sponge brush.
Now you've got a super cute box to hold all your goodies. I made this one inspired by St. Patrick's Day. (Isn't the pot of gold detail super cute?)
And here's one inspired by Easter.
Wouldn't it be cute filled with Eater items? (I got the chocolate treasure egg and bunny stickers from Oriental Trading Company's Easter goodies. I'm super stoked about the chocolate egg. I keep looking for Kinder surprise eggs here in America but can't ever find them. So I was so happy to see these chocolate ones.)
Hope you have a fun time making some boxes this weekend.
Happy making, friends!
